Land Of Giants
1992 A 60' film for WNET/HTV. Also shown on the BBC in 1994.
The foot long giant Pacific salamander, the quarter-pounder banana slug and the Roosevelt elk, weighing in a half a ton, are three of the outsized animals living amongst the giant conifers of north-western America’s Pacific coast. These evergreen forests are the oldest in the world and they boast trees which grow taller and live longer than any trees on earth.
