Saritha started off as a broadcast journalist at BBC news, since then she’s covered most corners of the earth making documentaries about the developing world. If there’s somewhere you wouldn’t really want to go Saritha has been there and just about lived to tell the tale.
Her programmes have taken on big subjects – HIV, infant mortality, the caste system, poaching, climate change. Since having a baby 2 years ago and going freelance Saritha has had to curb her wanderlust a little. She has just directed Amba the Russian Tiger.
